Pine Hills Core and PLUS Program

The Pine Hills PLUS program is an extension program that is an opt-in for those junior and youth-based players seeking a value-added experience and opportunity.

The PLUS program is a re-birth of the previous Academy program. The 'Academy' program previously consisted of:

. Mainly boys being selected, through a trial process, for the best team in
an age group, later called the Academy team
. A lengthened training period ending in late November
. A high-level coach being appointed, and
. A fee supplement to cover the extended costs or organising, resourcing and maintaining that additional service.

Players and families within this program have overall been very complimentary and supportive of the Academy concept.

After a review of the Academy program and feedback from our members, the club would like to extend the academy concept to other members of the club, be more inclusive and also deepen the program's activities.
