2026 Academy & Development Teams

In 2026, Pine Hills Football Club (PHFC) is proud to announce that our Boys (U10–U18) and Girls (U11–U17) have been included in the Football Queensland (FQ) Academy Leagues.
We will also feature Pre-Academy Boys (U9) and Pre-Academy Girls (U10), along with Development Teams across the Boys U8–U14 age groups (at a minimum).

The information below relates to our Academy teams. It is provided as a reference point for families- however, it is subject to change.

Academy Program Inclusions

Academy Team fees cover a comprehensive development program designed to support every player’s growth and experience throughout the season.

Inclusions

  • Pre-season and in-season match days

  • Two training sessions per week (approx. 30 weeks per year), overseen by the Club’s Advanced “B” Diploma Technical Director

  • Optional Strength & Conditioning sessions (U14–U18 players)

  • Optional Friday Night Game Sessions (U10–U13 players – held at selected times to manage training and playing load)

  • 2026 Player Kit, including:

    • PHFC polo shirt

    • Playing shorts and socks

    • Training shirt

    • Tracksuit top

    • Backpack

  • Playing jerseys (home and alternate) supplied by the club for the duration of the season

  • Player reviews and individual development plans

  • Sports Trainer coverage on game days (U13–U18)

  • Referee and assistant referee fees

  • Accredited coaching (including specialist goalkeeping coach where required) with support from Technical Leads

  • Club overheads and running costs

  • Team photo

We are excited to continue delivering a professional and supportive environment where our players grow as both great footballers and great people.


November Training Schedule

These sessions will focus on building team connection and preparing players for the year ahead.

  • U9 Boys- Mondays – 5:00–6:15pm, Field 1, starting Monday November 10

  • U10-U13 Boys- Wednesdays – 5:00–6:15pm, Field 1, starting Wednesday November 12

  • U14–U15 Boys- Wednesdays – 6:15-7:30, Field 3, starting Wednesday November 12

  • U10–U13 Girls- Thursdays – 5:00–6:15pm, Field 3, starting Thursday November 13

  • U14–U17 Girls - Thursdays – 6:00–7:15pm, Field 1, starting Thursday November 13

  • U16–U18 Boys - Thursdays – 6:15–7:30pm, Field 3, starting Thursday November 13

  • U10–U13 Girls – Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00–6:15pm

  • U14–U17 Girls Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00–7:15pm

  • U16–U18 Boys – Tuesday & Thursday, 6:15–7:30pm

Optional Strength & Conditioning sessions

U14/15 Boys- Tuesday 5:15-6:00pm

U16-18 Boys- Wednesday 5:00-5:45pm

U14-17 Girls- Wednesday 6:00-6:45pm

Optional Small-Sided Game Nights (for U10–U13 Boys and Girls) will be held on Friday evenings 5:00-6:00pm, during Term 1.

Player & Parent Agreement

All Academy & Development players and parents will be required to review and sign the PHFC Player & Parent Agreement, which outlines our expectations, values, and commitment to the Pine Hills Way. It is intended to help people understand what is expected across our Academy teams.


Key Dates

December 1 – Fields closed for annual maintenance by Moreton Bay Regional Council
January 12 – Fields re-open. Academy Teams may commence training (if coaches and players are available).
January 15–17 – School Holiday Clinic, 8–11am each day (Ages 6–14, grouped accordingly).

January 25 – Trial games vs Grange Thistle (U10–18 FQA teams)

Tuesday 27 January – Academy teams Parent & Player Information Sessions (Kakowan Community Hall, Bunya)
Session 1: 5:00pm–6:00pm (U15/17 Girls, U16/18 Boys, U13/14/15 Boys)
Session 2: 6:30pm–7:30pm (U10–13 Girls, U10–12 Boys)

One parent is asked to attend with each player. Meeting notes (and a recording) will be provided for anyone unable to attend in person.

January 28 – All Development Teams commence training
January 30 – Friday Night Games Night (U10–13) commences
February 1 – Trial games vs Ipswich FC (U10–18 FQA teams)
Week beginning February 2 – Strength & Conditioning (U14–18) commences
February 8 – U13–U18 Academy Teams commence fixtures
February (additional dates TBC) – U10–U12 Academy and Development Teams will have additional trial games throughout the month
March 8 – U10–U12 Academy Teams commence fixtures
March 8 – U13, U14, and U18 Development Teams commence their season
Term 2 – U9 Pre-Academy Boys, U10 Pre-Academy Girls, and U8–U12 Development Teams commence their regular season
