In preparation for the 2024 season, any female players aged 16+ are welcome to join training every Wednesday at 7pm from 17 January onwards. These sessions will focus on fun, but also aim to improve fitness, help everyone get to know each other, and allow coaches to begin sorting players into competitive teams.
The Pine Hills FC Metro Women's contingent is a large group of social, yet competitive players who currently play across three divisions (Div 5, Div 4 & Div 3).
Ranging in age from teens to 50s, and with experience ranging from complete beginners to ex-NPL, the group follows the ethos of giving 100% effort, providing 100% support & having 100% fun.
The Metro squad is headed by our Metro Womens co-ordinator, Samantha Mawdsley, led by five passionate coaches, and is supported by the Female Football management team who have an established pathway for female footballers from Under 6s all the way through to U23s, FQPL and Metro. Each team also has a dedicated manager.
The players are a large social group, sharing training sessions, social occasions and supporting each other's games. The Metro Women are an integral part of our Pine Hills FC family, as they serve as support for our FQPL U23s,
and demonstrate the determination and life-long love of football that we encourage in our younger footballers.
In 2024, Pine Hills FC has fielded three teams:

We are still accepting expressions of interest for our Metro Women's cohort for the 2024 season, as we welcome players who are anywhere on their footballing journey!
