The following was received late yesterday from Football Brisbane.
Dear Secretary,
All Divisional Competitions are now visible to clubs through Sporting Pulse for review (not the public). DO NOT send these fixtures to your club members as they may change after feedback.
Football Brisbane requests that all clubs review the fixtures for your teams as well as the grades they are in. You should ensure all teams are present and that the competitions schedule does not clash with existing SSF or other competitions. Please also ensure you allow in your review of the scheduling for teams who may be impacted by school activities, because once these schedules are finalised they will not be changed.
Any feedback must be to Football Brisbane by midday Monday 6th May 2013.
It is our intent to finalise all competitions by 5.00pm Tuesday 7th May 2013.

Dear Secretary,
I would like all Clubs Administrators to read the Rules of Competition in relation to ‘Applications for Alterations to Fixtures’. In particular, I wish them to ensure they understand the requirements for requests, the time frame, and the criteria for considering an alteration.
There is currently a spike in the number of requests for matches to be rescheduled because of school sporting events. This is not, and has never been an acceptable criteria for the movement of Football Brisbane Fixtures. Further, this is a Policy directive set by the Zone Council and as such it has been written into the Rules of Competition. Until this Policy is altered, Football Brisbane’s Administration will follow the Rules and reject any submission to alter a fixture for school sport.
Therefore, all clubs should please note that once a Competition Fixture Draw is finalised, matches will not be rescheduled for school sports. So please do not submit a request to do so, as it will not be entertained.
School sports played on the weekend is not new, and clubs are without doubt, aware that they will have player impact. Therefore it is essential in the development of the draft competition draws, that clubs attempt to set times for teams that limit the implications of player loss at their home matches. Obviously, there is no say in the scheduled times of away matches and therefore this will be a lottery for the club.
